Magniflex Mattresses Choices - Which One is Right for You?

Magniflex offers a wide array of mattresses designed to suit just about every type of sleeper. With so many choices available, how do you know which one is right for you? That really depends on your preferences as well as your body type and shape. Here are some suggestions.

  1. Use Magniflex’s table of ‘Support Indicators,’ which provides details on the level of comfort and support you can expect from a particular mattress. All you need to do is cross reference your weight and height in the table to see if a certain mattress will provide you with anatomical, firm, or medium support—or if it is unsuitable for you altogether.
  1. Understand what firm, medium, and anatomical means. ‘Firm’ Magniflex mattresses provide orthopedic support without upward pressure or rigidness. ‘Medium’ mattresses have a softer and more responsive feel. They are slightly adaptable to the shape of the body. ‘Anatomical’ mattresses, on the other hand, adapt to the shape of the body. They are ideal of people who prefer a soft, tailored support for their spine and lumbar region.
Did you know that Magniflex mattresses are spring free? Unlike traditional mattresses with springs that tend to exert upward force or pressure on the body, Magniflex mattresses are much more comfortable and don’t create discomfort during sleep. Springs also tend to lose their tensile strength after a few years, which is why spring mattresses sag and lose their shape over time. This won’t happen with Magniflex spring free mattresses that are made with patented and extremely durable foams that are engineered to keep their shape for a very long time.  Rather than forcing your body to adapt to springs, a Magniflex mattress is built to adapt to your body shape. After all, you’re the boss.

The Many Advantages of Using Jamison Memory Foam Mattress

Many discerning sleepers and luxury hotels prefer the Jamison memory foam mattress for various reasons. Once you learn the advantages of buying and sleeping on a Jamison mattress, you may want to consider it on your own bed, too. Despite its price tag, the Jamison memory foam mattress is highly recommended for being made by a trusted brand. The company itself has been manufacturing cutting-edge and luxurious mattresses for more than 120 years, starting with innerspring mattresses. Jamison began making memory foam mattresses in the early 1990s, and these products easily became a favorite, particularly by hotel chains like Marriott, Intercontinental, and Choice.

Jamison uses only the finest materials, like high-density Omalon foam for its memory foam mattresses. The foam adjusts to temperature changes, so it adapts to your body’s warmth to conform to your body’s contours. This way, it is able to provide comfortable and luxurious cushioning around you as you sleep. Jamison memory foam mattresses are known for their unique support and it sets them apart from other similar mattresses by other brands. Omalon, the cell structure of Jamison memory foam, is horizontally aligned to provide durability, comfort, and support. This formation means more support without boosting the density of the mattress, and the foam does not have to take time to warm up with your body heat and conform to your shape.

To date, Jamison has come up with a good selection of memory foam mattresses, including the Tahiti Cool Gel and Utopia cool Gel. One of its bestsellers is the Skandia Cool Gel memory foam mattress, which is infused with the company’s patented JGel technology. JGel beads absorb surface heat and causes it to dissipate outward to ensure a cooler surface compared to conventional memory foam. That way, warm sleepers can sleep more comfortably with enhanced temperature control.

Find the Best Marriott Mattress and Get Great Sleep

The Marriott is one of the most renowned chain of hotels in the world for reasons like high-quality facilities and rooms, and impeccable service. Apart from that, the hotel chain is known for its comfortable beds. Marriott mattresses are made exclusively by Jamison, a reputable manufacturer of high-quality mattresses for more than a century now. Now, you do not have to stay at the Marriott to experience the comfort its mattresses provide. Jamison created the Marriott Bed, which is also known as the ‘Lakeside’ or ‘Resort Bed’ to bring the famous hotel chain’s comfort right in your home. The manufacturer is known for creating high-quality memory foam and box spring mattresses.

The Marriott Bed is developed with durability, support, and comfort in mind. It is nine inches high, with multiple layers of breathable and responsive foam. The mattress guarantees comfort whether you are a side sleeper or someone who sleeps on his or her back or stomach. The surface layer is breathable and hypoallergenic, with the right amount of bounce. Jamison developed the two-inch soft and super soft foams for the bed to create the perfect mattress surface. The seven-inch ultra-high-density foam core is built using only the most premium materials from the US. To prolong the quality of the Marriott Bed, Jamison created an exclusive nine-inch box spring with kiln dried pine and true-coil steel to serve as its foundation.

When searching for the best Marriott mattress, always make sure that it is offered by a reputable and established retailer that is authorized to sell Jamison mattresses. That way, you can be sure that you are investing in an authentic Marriott Bed, and you can be certain that the warranty will apply in case you notice some defects. Reputable retailers are able to provide a 15-year warranty on the Marriot Bed, too, and that is longer than the regular warranty provided by Jamison.

Why is Everyone So Grumpy?

We have heard this our whole adult lives: you need to get 8 hours of sleep each night.  Yeah, right…that’s not going to happen.  You have the baby crying, the taxman calling, the big presentation in the morning, etc.  But the Better Sleep Council really does recommend a minimum of 8 hours of sleep every night, and the truth is 71% of us get less than 8 hours during weeknights. These poor sleep habits can affect your immune system, your memory, blood pressure, chronic pain, depression, your mood, weight gain and your overall health.  It’s no wonder your mattress is considered the most important piece of furniture in your home.

So, what does this all mean to you?  Besides the basics of creating a “sleep sanctuary” and turning off the TV, you need to cut down on the caffeine and alcohol near bedtime and truly give in to winding down as your regular bedtime gets near. Keep the bedroom dark and cool. And keep a notebook by the bed to write down anything you need to do tomorrow or any worries that are bothering you. Completely give in.

Lastly, you need a mattress that fits and works with your body. The key word here is “your”.  What if you and your sleep partner have completely different comfort preferences?  As matter of fact, 9 out of every 10 couples have a different idea of what comfort is to them, and everyone’s mattress needs are unique. What if she weighs 130 pounds, and he is 210?  They are going to experience different comfort levels as well as require different support levels.

To take it to another level, 3 of the top 5 most common sleep problems affect virtually all couples: tossing & turning (51% of all sleepers), lack of back support (42% of all sleepers / while one person might be supported, the other is not) and partner movement (21% of all sleepers).

So, that leads you to the obvious question: How do you find a mattress that can be perfect for 2 different individuals?  You can order a custom mattress for sure.  While that is an option, it can be very pricey and take from 2-3 months to get delivered. And when you both need a good night’s sleep, you need it now…not next quarter.

The other option would be to purchase a mattress that features Dual Core technology.  These mattresses have two separate cores of both comfort and support that can easily be adjusted by unzipping the mattress cover and simply flipping either of the inside cores. It’s just like a custom mattress without the wait or expense of made-to-order beds.  The Magniflex mattress brand from Italy offers the Dual Core feature and is available at many better-end furniture stores.

So, when you combine healthy sleep habits with the right mattress, both you and your partner will be ready to take on the daily grind.  And you won’t be as grumpy either.

Good Morning Mattress vs. Tuft and Needle

So, you’re in the market for a new mattress and are wondering if you should buy a Tuft and Needle or a Good Morning Mattress. What makes the Good Morning mattress better? This blog will explain.

Features of the Good Morning Mattress

Though the Tuft and Needle Mattress is no doubt a great product, many people agree that the Good Morning Mattress is better. The Good Morning Mattress has all the features of Tuft and Needle—but sells for a much lower price. You can even try it risk-free for 365 days, whereas Tuft and Needle’s trial period is just a short 100 days. The Good Morning Mattress is also covered by a 10-year warranty. If you decide for whatever reason that the Good Morning Mattress is not a good fit for you, it’s easy to get a refund.

If you’re overwhelmed by all the mattress jargon and just want a comfortable and affordable mattress that will last for many years, the Good Morning Mattress is an excellent choice.

Features of the Tuft and Needle Mattress

A Tuft and Needle mattress is made up of two layers: The top layer provides comfort and support, while the bottom layer is foundational. A 3-inch polyfoam, the top layer provides consistent support, great cooling, and buoyancy to reduce sinkage. The foundational 7-inch bottom layer is a high-density support foam that provides a solid foundation while remaining breathable.

The cover of the Tuft and Needle mattress is a minimalist, thin, stretchy, and all-white fabric with a small logo. The company chose to focus their design and engineering into the functional factors of the mattress vs. the aesthetics, explaining why the cover is understated.

Known for its moderate sinkage level, a Tuft and Needle mattress is comfortably firm; most people won’t sink by more than 1 to 1.5 inches. This type of mattress does not wrap around your body so you stay comfortably cool all night. It offers good support no matter what your sleeping position.
